The Orac brand is synonymous with quality, and is specified by designers and architects throughout the world. Here in the U.K. the Orac Xterio collection is used across various building sectors to provide pre-finished building material.
Q Developments, Kingston, Surrey
In 2015 Q Developments started a prestigious site on a private estate in Kingston, Surrey. We were initially contacted by Curve Interior design based in Manchester. During our discussions about potential cornice mouldings which could be used throughout the home we offered Xterio decorative detailing for the external eaves. Stephen Biggs worked with the site agent, and ran through the most suitable options.
After a few visits details were agreed. The first plot was a tremendous success, and we carried over the same product references onto the similar second plot. Our favourite feature is the high recess used to hide the curtain rails, with our C354 cornice looking like a fabulous zig-zag around the feature bay windows. Outside our default choice C820 cornice fits in well with the cast stone detailing.
Linden Homes, Avery Hill, Eltham
Linden Homes (SE) have recently chosen our STEPS exterior cornice design to add decorative detail to the eaves on a development of 70 homes in Avery Hill, Eltham. Working with their chosen PVCu fascia and soffit supplier we were able to offer a cornice reference from our existing range which was a match for the profile shown on their elevation drawings.
The C392EP cornice was supplied promptly for use on the show homes, without any costly tooling charges usually associated with "glassfibre specials".
