More about Orac Xterio Cornice
House Builders today have seen significant changes in their construction processes. The cost of building plots continues to rise, and obtaining a skilled workforce can provide numerous headaches. When it comes to the luxury home sector plain pvc eaves details simply won’t do. House buyers are looking for the sort of decorative features which are all too often expensive or incredibly costly to install. One of Orac's best customers brought the external moulding market to our attention, and asked if we could help with their best sellers.
Our client had enjoyed considerable success with a similar reference, but carpenters on site had complained that cutting on site was difficult. In addition the 5mm thick material often arrived by carrier with corners that had been contorted and proved difficult to fit.
Back in 2002 we introduced the Orac C820 cornice, which up until then had been exclusively manufactured from fibreglass. Using a 12mm thick polyurethane material finished in a white RAL 9003 colour we unwittingly found ourselves involved in a rapidly growing market sector. The pre-finished corners went down well on site.
Today we've used the experience to bring many new designs to the market place. Most mouldings are supplied in 2 metre lengths, and fitted by adhesive. Larger references can be supplied with pre-cut mitres to speed installation on site.
Whether you want the diminutive C800 for dormers or the large C836 reference used on exclusive London sites we can help.
